What OX3 covers

OX3 is east Oxford, centred on Headington. It stretches from the New Marston floodplain in the west to the rural villages of Beckley and Woodeaton in the north-east. The core residential area is Old Headington and Headington itself — the elevated suburb on the A40, home to John Radcliffe Hospital and Oxford Brookes University.

OX3 is consistently one of Oxford's most popular postcodes for NHS professionals and university staff because of its proximity to the hospitals and its relatively good value compared with OX1 and OX2.
